About the conference 2026
Dear participants,
the International Conference Youth and Values 2026: Values Education in the Context of a Pluralistic and Multicultural Society is organised by the Dept. of Christian Education, Sts Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology, Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic, and by Paidagogos - Society for Philosophy, Theory, and Praxis of Education every second year.
Thursday, November 5, 2026, is reserved for keynote speeches, academic discussions.
On Friday, November 6, 2026, Alumni Day - the conference will provide an opportunity for graduates (mainly in social pedagogy) working in the field to meet and share experiences. Details will be available here soon.

What types of contribution submissions are accepted?
Oral presentations: 10 minutes long presentation + discussion. Standard technical equipment (wifi, projector, laptop) available. English, Czech, or Slovak.
Posters: 90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height), posters will be placed vertically. English, Czech, or Slovak.
Submissions are to be handed in via the standard submission procedure - see the link below.
Fees:
- Active participation of an academic ...................... 1800 CZK (Early bird till 31.8.2026)
- Active participation of an academic ...................... 2300 CZK (From 1.9.2026)
- Passive participation ................................................ 1200 CZK (anytime)
- Registration fee for students ................................... 1200CZK (anytime)
The registration fee for an active participation includes:
- the conference pack and a programme booklet
- entry to the social event on Thursday
- coffee and snacks during coffee breaks
- lunch vouchers in the restaurant for Thursday and Friday lunch break.
- Please note: the registration fee does not include the cost of travel or hotel.

The conference fee should be paid by 30th September 2026 by bank transfer (information how to pay the fee can be found here)
Conference proceedings
An abstract proceedings volume will be published following the conference. All accepted abstracts will be included in the proceedings, which will serve as an official record of the event and its contributions.
